BREXIT Statement | HAF International | Architectural Ironmongery

Updated 1/2/2020: It’s official, we have left the EU and we are now in an 11-month transition period. During this time, whilst the UK and EU engage in further negotiations we remain in the EU single market and customers union and continue to abide by EU rules.

What does this mean for us, our suppliers and customers? In terms of the products we deliver to our customers, we are reliant on partners in our supply chain. As a result, we still find ourselves in a position where we are unsure as to the outcome post the transition period and how it will affect UK imports and exports.

Although BREXIT uncertainty has eased, we are continuing to monitor the situation and work closely with our suppliers to maintain business continuity. However, our suppliers are all different in various ways so unfortunately there is not a clear and defined procedure in place that covers all. Our top priority is to minimise disruption as far as we can. And whilst, we may for example experience events beyond our control – such as delays and prices increases, we will make certain that we keep our customers notified at the earliest opportunity.

In the meantime, we would like to thank our customers for understanding our position and assure them of our best attention and intentions throughout and beyond.
